Settings Sync

SecretCord Cloud is used for seamlessly syncing settings across multiple clients. You can set it up in the SecretCord settings inside Discord. It is entirely optional, so you can still run SecretCord fully locally without ever connecting an account.

Privacy First

Your privacy is respected. The cloud integration only stores basic configuration settings and hashed IDs. The status page exposes aggregate counts and absolutely no raw Discord IDs or IP addresses.

Auto Updates

The SecretCord update server publishes ASAR builds, launcher downloads, plugin metadata, and health information directly to your client, ensuring you always have the latest patches and fixes.

Secure OAuth2

Login securely with Discord's OAuth2 system. We do not store your Discord tokens, and you can revoke our application's access at any time through your Discord Authorized Apps settings.

How to Use Cloud Sync

Getting Started

To enable Cloud Sync in SecretCord:

  1. Open your Discord User Settings and scroll down to the SecretCord section.
  2. Click on the Cloud tab.
  3. Click Enable Cloud Integration. Your browser will open an authorization page.
  4. Authorize the SecretCord application to link your account.
  5. Return to Discord and turn on Enable Settings Sync.
  6. You can now use the "Sync to Cloud" and "Sync from Cloud" buttons to manage your configuration!
